NUESTRA TAREA PRINCIPAL
COMO HIJOS DE DIOS
Muchos creen que nuestra tarea principal es evangelizar, plantar iglesias, ser sal y luz en nuestros trabajos, o atender bien a nuestras familias. Todo esto es bíblico pero no es lo primero. Nuestra primera tarea en la obra de Dios fue establecida por Jesús mismo:
Juan 6:29 (PDT) Jesús contestó: —Esto es lo que Dios pide que hagan: que crean en quien él envió.
Todo comienza con nuestra fe. Nuestra tarea principal no es hacer crecer ministerios o vocaciones, sino crecer en nuestra fe. La fe se acrecienta cuando leemos la Escritura, buscamos la Presencia, y pedimos que Dios nos aumente la fe.
Creo que podemos fijar metas en el crecimiento de nuestra fe. El primer nivel de fe es creer que Dios PUEDE hacerlo. El segundo nivel es creer que Dios QUIERE hacerlo. El tercer nivel de fe es creer que Dios LO VA A HACER. Pero el mayor nivel es este: creer que Dios YA LO HIZO.
1 Juan 5:15 Y si sabemos que él nos oye en cualquier cosa que pidamos, sabemos que tenemos las peticiones que le hayamos hecho.
Cuando teníamos 40 grupos de oración, orábamos por 80 grupos en la red. Esto parecía algo difícil de alcanzar. Ahora, nuestra fe se ha incrementado cada año para duplicar lo que Dios nos dio. Este año estamos estirando nuestra fe para ir de 160 grupos a 320. Nuestro primer trabajo en la red Comunionet es entonces incrementar nuestra fe, poner la fe a trabajar y luego ver cómo Dios nos trae el crecimiento.
1 Corintios 3:6 Yo planté, Apolos regó; pero el crecimiento lo ha dado Dios.
Si primero nos enfocamos en hacer crecer nuestra fe, luego en plantar diligentemente y en regar, lograremos grandes cosas, ¡ya que Dios traerá crecimiento sobrenatural! un grupo que se reúne cada 24 horas, todos los días del año, no es fácil. Cuánto mas aún, multiplicar un grupo en una red de 10 y luego, de 100 grupos, es un gran desafío. Por eso, este blog fue creado para que el líder de grupo pueda crecer espiritual y administrativamente y guiar a su grupo a la multiplicación!
OUR MAIN TASK
AS CHILDREN OF GOD
Many believe that the main task is to evangelize, plant churches, be salt and light at our jobs, or take good care of our families. While all of this is biblical, it is not our first call. Our first job in the work of God was established by Jesus himself:
Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” John 6:29 (NIV)
This is what God asks us to do: believe in the one he has sent. It all begins with our faith.Our main task is not to grow ministries, but to grow our faith. Our faith grows when we read the scriptures, seek God's presence, and ask God to increase our faith.
I believe we can set goals for the growth of our faith. The first level of faith is believing that God CAN do something. The second level of faith is to believe that God WANTS to do something. The third level of faith is to believe that God IS GOING to do something. The greatest level of faith is to believe that God has ALREADY DONE it!
And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:15 (NIV)
When we had 40 prayer groups, we believed for 80 groups in the network. This seemed really difficult. Now, each year, our faith has increased to believe that we can DOUBLE the amount of groups that God has given us. This year we are stretching our faith to go from 160 groups to 320 groups. Our first task in Comunionet is to grow our faith, put our faith to work, and then see how God gives us the increase.

If we focus first on growing our faith, then diligently plant and water, we will achieve great things, as God will bring supernatural growth! We appreciate every leader that maintains a daily prayer group. The bigger challenge is to multiply that group into a network of 10 or even 100 groups. This blog was created to help the leader grow spiritually and administratively and to lead the group to multiplication.
