MENTORING MEETING. After praying, WE REVIEW these notes together:
SEVEN IMPORTANT NEEDS OF THOSE WHO LEFT THE FAITH
Luke 15:1-7 - Parable of the Lost Sheep
1– LOST PEOPLE NEED SOMEONE TO GUIDE THEM BACK TO GOD
Tax collectors and other notorious sinners often came to listen to Jesus teach. This made the Pharisees and teachers of religious law complain that he was associating with such sinful people—even eating with them! (vs. 1,2).

2– LOST PEOPLE NEED SOMEONE TO ADOPT THEM SPIRITUALLY
So Jesus told them this story: “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do?” (vs. 3,4).

3– LOST PEOPLE NEED SOMEONE TO GIVE THEM PREFERENTIAL ATTENTION
“Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness … (v.4).

4– LOST PEOPLE NEED SOMEONE TO LOOK FOR THEM AND NOT GIVE UP
… and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it?” (v.4).

5–LOST PEOPLE NEED SOMEONE TO CARRY THEM ON THEIR SHOULDERS
“And when he has found it, he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders” (v.5).
6– LOST PEOPLE NEED SOMEONE TO CELEBRATE THEM WHEN THEY RETURN
“When he arrives, he will call together his friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.’“ (v.6).

7– LOST PEOPLE NEED SOMEONE WHO VALUES RESCUING ONE LOST PERSON, EVEN MORE THAN FOCUSING ON MANY WHO ARE DOING WELL
“In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!” (v.7).

Discuss with the group:
From the seven needs we just mentioned, which one touches your heart the most?
Think of one person who has drifted away from faith. How could you show care for that specific need in their life this week?
Dismiss the meeting with a victory cry of “Gloria a Dios” [Glory to God] at the count of three.
Sunday
THE LORD’S SUPPER
-
WE TRAIN: What do they need to return? - review (7 of 7) - https://youtu.be/IK4kW_3I1hw?si=5x0jcAQ3oXOPI8LX
-
WE THANK God for every prodigal that returned to Christ.
-
THE LORD’S SUPPER: READ Luke 22:19,20 (as we partake of the bread and cup): [Jesus] took some bread and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me. After supper he took another cup of wine and said, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people —an agreement confirmed with my blood, which is poured out as a sacrifice for you”.
-
WE ACT:
Send a kind invitation for those who haven’t answered yet: “Hi, [name]! I just wanted to know if you had the chance to think about joining our brief prayer group. You can simply listen in — there’s no pressure to pray out loud. Would you like me to send you the hour and the link of the group?”.
Read Jeremiah 46-47; Hebrews 6
Give: God loves those who give with joy: “You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. ‘For God loves a person who gives cheerfully’” (2 Corinthians 9:7, NLT). To donate, go to: https://en.comunionet.com/donar
Dismiss the meeting with a victory cry of “Gloria a Dios” [Glory to God] at the count of three.

What do I do if I get behind?
Unfortunately, things happen that can throw us out of our routine of reading the daily portion of Scripture. Continue from the last day you missed, reading two or even three reading days at a time to catch up. A good idea is to simply turn off the television and leave the social networks in order to dedicate more time daily to catch up.
-
What if I didn't start the plan on January 1?
If you're using the YouVersion app, there's an easy way to reset your Bible Reading Plan to start on January 1, even if you started the plan on a different day of the year. Below are the instructions on the YouVersion website.
4– Ask the golden question: “How Are You?” (have all leaders answer or just a few, depending on time left)
5– Dismiss with a powerful “Gloria a Dios” [Glory to God].
